With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia, the Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra – “Georgian Sinfonietta” will have a concert tour in India!
The first concert will take place on March 11th at the Prithvi Theatre, Juhu
The second concert will be held on March 12th at the NCPA TATA Theatre, Mumbai
Programme:
Felix Mendelssohn – String Symphony No. 10
Felix Mendelssohn – Piano Concerto in a minor
Franz Schubert – String Quartet No. 14, ‘Death and the Maiden” (arr. by Gustav Mahler)
Sulkhan Tsintsadze – “Miniatures” (with musicians of the Symphony Orchestra of India)
The continuation of artistic collaboration is already planned, and in October, Indian musicians will visit Tbilisi.
